Home Learning

At Felmore Primary School, we are committed to making sure that learning continues even when pupils are unable to attend school in person.

We have robust remote learning arrangements in place so that your child can continue to access high-quality education from home. Our remote learning is designed to reflect the same curriculum intent and high expectations that your child experiences in school, with work that is purposeful, meaningful and linked to ongoing classroom learning.

When pupils are required to learn from home — for example during isolation, partial bubbles closure, or wider disruption — we will provide clear guidance on how to access work online. This may include:

  • accessing learning tasks and resources via our chosen online platforms (e.g. TT Rockstars / Century)

  • links to high-quality learning resources that support the curriculum sequence.

Where possible, pupils will be taught the same curriculum remotely as they would in school, with adaptations only where necessary due to the home environment or available resources.

We understand that remote education can present challenges for families. If your child struggles to access learning online, please let us know - we will work with you to support access to devices, printed resources and additional help where needed.

Your child’s teacher will be in contact to provide feedback and help as required, and we ask families to support their child’s engagement by helping them access learning each day and keeping in touch with us about any concerns.

Together, we’ll ensure that learning remains consistent, supportive and effective - wherever it’s taking place.
