Since April 1st 2022, all mid year admissions must be made directly through the school.
Children join the Reception class at the beginning of the school year in which they are five (children born on and between 1st September 2019 and 31st August 2020 would normally join in September 2024). If you are an Essex resident you must apply for your child’s school place via Essex County Council’s website. The online application system will open on 6th November 2023 and the closing date for applications is 15th January 2024. Offers of places will be sent on 16th April 2024. Once a child has been offered a place in one of our Reception classes, parents are invited to transition meetings at the school.

You can apply to change your child's school during the school year. This is called a mid-year admission.
If you are moving to a new house, you need to provide proof of your new address with your application.
If your child has an education, health and care (EHC) plan, you need to contact the Special Education Needs and Disabilities (SEND) service. You can access this service here.
