Hello and welcome to the Year Six blog!
We are continuing our new curriculum – Dimensions. Our learning will be cross curricular and theme based.
Our theme at the moment is War of the Worlds which is all about conflict. It looks at the First and Second World Wars, as well as other conflicts.
Practise all times tables facts up to 12x12 including division facts. Make sure you know them off by heart and can answer questions even if they include decimals, such as 0.7 x 8 = 5.6; and multiples of 10 eg 70 x 8 = 560.
Read every day - this can be a book from home, school or online; fiction or non-fiction. Remember to record this in your reading diary.
Please continue to use a range of techniques to help you learn the spellings from the year 3/4 and 5/6 spelling list.
You can also use www.spellingframe.co.uk to help you.
