Early Bird Breakfast Club
Caring for children at Felmore School starts before the school day begins, with our Early Bird Breakfast Club. The club is managed by Felmore School and staffed by school staff members.
Each morning children are offered a breakfast such as cereal, toast/crumpets with jam, honey or marmite in line with our Healthy Schools policy.
We open every weekday during term time (excluding inset days) from 7.55 a.m. Your children can be dropped off anytime from then, food however stops being served from 8.15a.m.
There is a fixed cost of 50p, per child per day which includes breakfast and activities. We also accept childcare vouchers. The cost per day does not change depending on the time you arrive.
We have many activities each day which run on a weekly theme. Some examples of our themes this term include Chickens, construction, magic & puzzles, construction and authors.
Children are able to use the ICT suite where they are encouraged to extend their own learning , although there is always an adult on hand to monitor.
At the Early Bird Club children have the opportunity to make new friends, learn life and social skills, in a relaxed environment and most of all start the day with a smile.
As our club is very successful, and a reasonable cost, we have a lot of members and consequently now have a waiting list.
The first point of contact for The Early Bird Club is Mrs Tilby our Breakfast Club Manager. If she is unable to take your call she will endeavour to contact you at the first opportunity.
